The new Universal Series of inks from Texsource represent the state of the art in ink technology.  A true 'universal' ink, it is at home printing on a variety of substrates, including materials that benefit from the true strength of the ink - a lower cure temperature.  This is a significant benefit to those who see dye migration issues when curing on 100% polyester garments.

Take advantage of this change to get SIX of the most popular colors in the series at a great introductory price!

Colors included in the kit:

  • White
  • Black
  • Light Royal
  • National Red
  • Kelly Green
  • Light Gold
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Universal Series Inks are ultra low bleed inks, not non-bleed inks. On some types of fabric, bleeding or dye migration can occur. Always test print the fabric to be printed before beginning production. It is best to do some long term testing on fabrics to determine if they are going to bleed. Bleeding or dye migration may not occur right away.

Universal Series Inks were formulated to make printing opaque colors easy. Hand printing is less tiring because less squeegee pressure is needed. The result is increased operator performance. Automatic equipment can be adjusted to lower squeegee pressure settings, thus improving screen life, squeegee durability, and overall print quality.

Universal Series Inks can be cured from 275°F to 325°F (135°C to 163°C), giving the operator greater flexibility and energy savings.  This low curing range makes this a great ink for poly materials that can release dye at higher temperatures causing dye migration discoloration.

Universal Series Inks, when compared to other opaque inks, prints so easily that you will find that a finer screen mesh can be used with the same opacity as a lower, more open mesh. This means less ink will be used; a real money saver in terms of ink usage and cost per print. It also means a softer hand on flashed fabrics.

Adding any reducers or additives can lower bleed resistance, opacity, or increase cure times of ink. STIR the ink prior to printing on press and after addition of reducers or additives.

Test dryer temperatures and wash test printed product before and during a production run.
