EX-1 is a dual cure emulsion recommended for plastisol inks. EX-1 has excellent water resistance. Diazo is added in the normal way by first adding room temperature water, agitating and then adding the solution to the emulsion. Allow the emulsion to stand for at least 30 minutes to ensure any air bubbles introduced during mixing are released. This emulsion washes out with ease. No more washing out the dot's. Please use a Exposure Calculator to get proper exposure time.  Diazo is included in the package.  Blue color.

Storage: When sealed in the original container and stored in cool conditions, this product will maintain its original properties for one year from the date of manufacture.

Shelf life: 12 months*
*Look at the lower right hand corner of the EX-1 Label for the expiration date of your container of EX-1.

Emulsion Exposure Differences
Proper screen exposure must take many factors into account – the emulsion type, coating thickness, exposure unit, etc.  As a general guideline for the different emulsion types (diazo, dual cure, and photopolymer) use these times as a reference.

Photopolymer – These are typically the fastest exposing emulsions, with many exposing correctly from 30-50 seconds.  The shortest times can be seen when using a newer LED-type exposure unit.

Dual Cure – If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) to that time for most dual cure emulsions.

Diazo - If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 210 seconds (3.5 minutes) to that time for most diazo emulsions.

These times will depend heavily on your exposure unit and should only be considered as a starting point.

Good Better Best
Four Stars - it seems to be a favorite on here and for good reason, it is easy to use and exposes quick and easy. for the price it don't think it can be beaten. We have used this emulsion for about 4 years now and we have others, but for lower quantity jobs this is the emulsion we reach for.

Excellent product!
Love this stuff! Easy to use, easier to wash out than anything else I've tried. My only suggestion is selling pint-sized or 1/2 quart containers, because of the expiration issue, for people who only need to emulsify a few screens at a time...

A great emulsion for the price
We use this in our shop and have for about 2 years now. We print mainly low quantities, so the affordability of this is perfect. Durable and easy to wash out.
