Magenta Color - Ulano RLX is a multi-purpose high speed diazo-photopolymer direct emulsion. RLX's very high solids content provides better stencil build per coat, excellent bridging of coarse mesh, and faster drying. RLX has superb coating properties and durability and is resistant to a wide variety of solvent- and water-based ink systems. RLX is recommended for imprinted sportswear, P-O-P, and advertising specialty printing.

Emulsion Exposure Differences
Proper screen exposure must take many factors into account – the emulsion type, coating thickness, exposure unit, etc.  As a general guideline for the different emulsion types (diazo, dual cure, and photopolymer) use these times as a reference.

Photopolymer – These are typically the fastest exposing emulsions, with many exposing correctly from 30-50 seconds.  The shortest times can be seen when using a newer LED-type exposure unit.

Dual Cure – If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) to that time for most dual cure emulsions.

Diazo - If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 210 seconds (3.5 minutes) to that time for most diazo emulsions.

These times will depend heavily on your exposure unit and should only be considered as a starting point.

Great product. Been using it for 17 years. Never a glitch. Does half-tones. Can see thru it for easy line-ups. All in all, the best at the best price for an all around emulsion.

RLX is good stuff. It takes a little longer to expose if you have a flor. bulb exposure system as opposed to a metal halide system, but You can get really good detail and halftones with this emulsion. This particular emulsion has been around for years. I wouldnt use it for simple designs if you have a weak light source as it takes a little longer, but its definitely a good emulsion. Pretty much all Ulano products are worth the money in my opinion.
