Xenon EDGE dual cure emulsion is a durable, quick exposing emulsion for use with Plastisol inks.  Pink-to-red in color, it offers excellent durability and image due to its high solids makeup.  It coats smoothly and evenly with pinhole-free coverage, sharp edges, and excellent resolution.  This emulsion should only be handled in yellow light.  No Diazo is needed.  Good solvent resistance for most press washes.  Shelf life is over one year.

Distance for exposure should be about one and a half times the diagonal measurement of the artwork from point light sources.  Yellow and orange mesh requires at least 50% more time than white mesh.  Avoid freezing.

NOTE - The product image is intended to show an approximate color of the product when applied to the screen.  Actual color may vary.  Product listing does not include screen and / or scoop coater.

Emulsion Exposure Differences
Proper screen exposure must take many factors into account – the emulsion type, coating thickness, exposure unit, etc.  As a general guideline for the different emulsion types (diazo, dual cure, and photopolymer) use these times as a reference.

Photopolymer – These are typically the fastest exposing emulsions, with many exposing correctly from 30-50 seconds.  The shortest times can be seen when using a newer LED-type exposure unit.

Dual Cure – If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 90 seconds (1.5 minutes) to that time for most dual cure emulsions.

Diazo - If you have established a good exposure time with photopolymer emulsions, you can typically add 210 seconds (3.5 minutes) to that time for most diazo emulsions.

These times will depend heavily on your exposure unit and should only be considered as a starting point.

Best Emulsion Hands down
I juggled and struggled with different emulsions trying to hit perfection with every screen. One day while ordering my rep suggested Xenon Edge, and I haven't looked at another emulsion since. Fast exposure, no pin holes, great dot retention, my fave hands down!

Best Emulsion we've used so far
I'm surprised to see the 4-star reviews that have nothing but good things to say. This is a perfect emulsion for us. Holds up well on 1000+ shirt runs. Easy to reclaim. Fast exposure. I highly recommend The Edge.

Hadnt used their emulsion before but we needed something cheaper and quick so I ordered this. Arrived the next day and it is impressive. Wasnt sure it would be all that great with the price but I have since ordered another gallon. No problems at all.

Great New Emulsion
Our rep recommended this to us as a more affordable emulsion than our regular and we have been very impressed after using over 2 gallons so far. Seems to be durable for larger jobs, no pinhole problems, very smooth, good detail. This has become our main emulsion now. Recommended by us.
